About Breast Augmentation
What makes a woman decide to have breast augmentation in Boca Raton after she spends months, or even years, thinking about it? Many women whose breasts have become deflated after pregnancy and breastfeeding choose to restore their figure once their family is complete. Some women decide that they have lived with asymmetrical or misshapen breasts long enough and it’s time to take action. Still, others research the procedure, learn that it is safe and straightforward, and elect to create the fuller, shapelier look they have always wanted. No matter what’s motivating you, don’t spend any more time just thinking about breast enlargement in Boca Raton. When you request a FREE consultation with Dr. Steven Schuster or Dr. Daniel Kovacs, you can feel confident that you are in good hands. Both warm, caring, highly trained plastic surgeons, Dr. Schuster and Dr. Kovacs will consider your individual needs carefully, then help you understand and think through your options.
The Basics – Breast Enlargement
At Schuster Plastic Surgery, your breast enlargement procedure will be customized for you. During this procedure, a breast implant is placed inside a pocket formed underneath the breast tissue called the capsule or pocket. Dr. Schuster or Dr. Kovacs will help you choose from several breast augmentation options including implant size and shape, and incision location. They have experience placing breast implants both above and below the chest muscle. Many women can benefit from a mastopexy, or breast lift, combined with breast augmentation in Palm Beach County. Moms interested in mommy makeover surgery often need to restore both volume and position to regain a youthful profile.

HOW DO I CHOOSE WHAT SIZE I SHOULD BE?
We’ve performed breast augmentation for many years and helped thousands of women decide how large they should go, taking into account body type, lifestyle, and many other factors. When we meet, we’ll show you a variety of breast implants and help you choose the specific model that will give you the look you’re seeking. ARE SILICONE IMPLANTS REALLY SAFE?
After 14 years of study – making silicone breast implants some of the most studied of all medical devices – in 2006 the US Food and Drug Administration approved a new generation of silicone gel implants for women aged 22 and older. Silicone has many medical uses, including a variety of applications inside the body, and silicone gel implants are considered very safe.
WILL THE IMPLANTS RUPTURE?
There’s no guarantee that your breast implants will last a lifetime. Saline breast implants occasionally rupture and deflate, with the solution harmlessly absorbed by the body. While it’s possible for cohesive silicone gel implants to rupture, the filling is likely to remain within the breast capsule. This is why regular MRIs are recommended for women with silicone gel implants – to detect “silent ruptures.”
